We are required by the government to re-register the KRRA under the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022. The new Act requires we make a number of changes to our existing Constitution.

Re-registration is required by 5 April 2026 so this needs to be approved at the upcoming 20 April 2025 Easter Sunday AGM.

As well as changes required by the 2022 Act, the committee has also taken the opportunity to add in a number of clarifications to simplify committee proceedings.

According to our existing constitution, we need a 65% majority of KRRA financial members to approve the new constitution.

We attach a copy of the revised Constitution together with a summary of the proposed changes.
